What I liked
I was going to write a really positive review about this show, because it’s demonstrably great and a whole lot of fun. The tunes are both beautiful and full of rock and roll awesomeness. The cast is uniformly terrific, corny and totally committed in the just the right way. Super funny. Super nerdy. All around super.
But then I noticed that all the reviews seem to be not just positive, but almost euphoric in their praise, and that irritated me. So now I think the show sucks and is stupid and you shouldn’t see it. And by the way, you’d do yourself a whole lot of good by taking Laura Wiley to the Blue Bayou at Disneyland.
