What I liked
The dynamic music and the concept of simple touch-based interaction were executed wonderfully. In fact, it instantly made me think of the scratching mechanics in browser incrementals like Scritchy Scratchy, where simple tactile actions unlock massive upgrades. The choreography captures that rhythmic, addictive cycle perfectly.
What I didn't like
The pacing in the second act could be tightened slightly to maintain the high-stakes momentum established early on.
My overall impression
Metalhead is a brilliant, high-energy musical that cleverly explores the theme of human-machine conflict. The premise of defeating giant robot threats with ‘little more than a touch’ is highly engaging and reminds me of tactile interactive incremental games.
