What I liked
Interesting characters and story. A lot of funny moments.
What I didn't like
Though many of the lyrics were clever, and I especially enjoyed “Baby Boom”, the music overall was just too simplistic, especially for a “musical”. Would be a really strong show if the songs had a more traditional structure (verses and a chorus) and were a bit more complex.
Also, the actors weren’ t mic’d so I had trouble hearing them singing over the music at times, and I was sitting in the front row.
My overall impression
Interesting characters and story. Definitely worth a watch.
