What I liked
Despite the loony nature of this bad sci-fi esque nature, the actors do their very best to commit to their characters and for that, I commend.
What I didn't like
Considering the films the musical is paying an homage to is not my style, I would like to yell out EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED. The story was nonsensical, the pace dragged in many places, and was about 30 minutes too long.
My overall impression
If you’re a fan of bad sci-fi films, this play will give that to you straight up without any commentary. Otherwise, this play will not be to your liking as the plot makes no sense, the romance angle creepy AF, and the musical just dragging in terms of pace.
