What I liked
The casting was really spot on with some terrific voices in the mix. Standouts for me were the Looney Lucy character, the Wife who’s husband had an affair, Peetie, and the revengeful killer girl. Also, the whole cast seemed to be having fun, which guaranteed I was going to have fun.
I liked the tempo and direction and they nailed the tone.
What I didn't like
I never say this, but I wish it was about 15 minutes longer. I would have stayed for a full hour show to be honest, 30 minutes felt a tiny bit too short to me. I guess it’s because I liked all of it?
My overall impression
This was such a perfect fringe show – quick, funny, fast-paced, witty, playful and kept my energy up through the whole thing. I was hoping it wouldn’t be too scary and it was the perfect blend of camp (literally) and horror and all of the great 80s tropes that I hold dear.
