YES!!! Airplane Live! is that rare theatrical event: tons of fun, family friendly (I could safely take my parents to it :) ), sing-a-long, shout-a-long, audience response, the American equivalent of the Great British Panto. It was a great throwback to the classic airplane movie with a lot of new and updated material. Really tight, pacey direction that keeps the action moving, a lot of very well drawn characters who lead you along in the story, get you laughing, get you laughing a bit more, and suddenly the show is over and you want to keep going! Great work from the cast, really well-done direction, a Five Star experience. Highly Recommended!!!...

One of the greatest parody films of all time gets transformed into a Rocky Horror-esque type of fun stage show. Most of the classic scenes and lines are there and you are encouraged to shout out the lines you know and love (along with lines from other movies you might know). They also added updated scenarios which definitely worked for the show. While the updates are not part of the original film, they are done with the same style and love of the originals.
You can tell this was made and performed with such a fondness for the movie, which makes it that much better for the fans. This is something I could see having a cult following and performed on the regular around town.

I was skeptical that a beloved comedy could be adapted to the stage, but they managed to pull it off. Obviously, they couldn't cram the whole movie into an hour-long show, so some cuts had to be made, but the major beats were there and so were the major lines....

This show is a love-letter to fans of cult classic film. If that's you, Surely you've already seen the show? I haven't and stop calling me Shirley.
Well then go, unless you hate fun (and Airplane) in which case only go if you can avoid loudly complaining to the folks who are having a good time.
Special shout out to the stage ninja (stage hand) how does so much with what some actors would refuse on the grounds he doesn't get lines.

This show was absolutely hilarious! Everyone fit their role really well and served the production perfectly. I loved the inventiveness and updated humor-- it all fit well with our current social climate, while still maintaining the heart and spirit of the film. Kudos all around!...

Very unprofessional, lack organization, no bathrooms but the play would of been nice is staff didn't ruin the entire show....
