This production is high-energy and clips along to finish in an hour. It’s a very tight production.
What I didn't like
Placing this production in a modern day women’s penitentiary added anything to the story, or illuminated any part of the script. It felt more like bookends to explain why the cast was all female.
My overall impression
This is not a nuanced production of The Tempest, but it’s fun. If you have a special place in your heart for this story, it is definitely worth an hour of your time.
