What I liked
This show reminded me a lot of the TV show ‘Scrubs’: Both move effortlessly from physical comedy to real pathos to heightened reality, with kicky songs and pithy dialogue smattered throughout.
What I didn't like
I lost a lot of the text…both the script and the songs had really complex lines but some of the cast didn’t have the chops to let us hear it.
My overall impression
Overall, a very enjoyable time. Nice snappy pace, good smattering of songs, and the child and dad scenes were especially poignant. Definitely brought back memories of middle school!
