What I liked

I enjoyed that the play can be taken at any number of levels symbolically or it can be taken literally.

Spoiler

The setting is after the end of the world. On it’s face it about life after the Apocalypse but once you are into the dialog a more philosophical context emerges.

What I didn't like

The execution of the production was well done.

It’s difficult to do much production design in Fringe but this show manages to change the floor texture (possibly for traction) that suggests sand or dirt.

The show was sold out so the only real improvement would be to add more seats to the house.

My overall impression

Definition of Man is a delight of moment and emotional exploration of the dynamics between genders.

It is well acted, written and produced.

Nikki and Jason were both emotionally accessible and naturalistic which woks wounders in an intimate space such as this.

JJ has a solid grasp on the stage picture and has held together a reflective gem.
