What I liked
For someone that is very familiar with Beckett’s play “Waiting for Godot” and the band U2, this was a match made in heaven for me!
From the moment the lights come up on Bono and the Edge, the audience is hooked! In fact one might even wonder if, were they in this situation, the real Bono and the Edge would actually have this conversation.
So much is done right with this show, that by the time Domingo and Lucky appear, the audience is already fully on board and ready for that next level.
Well done and such a great homage to the source material. One of my favs this year for sure.
