A moving piece of theatre that had me fully engaged and wanting more. The acting was so good, and true, and touching, that I felt I was peeking in on conversations I wasn't supposed to hear. The way the story flipped back and forth in time, and how the actors tackled it so effortlessly and yet with so much care and attention, was thrilling to watch. Overall, I commend the entire cast and crew on a job well done. A phenomenal production from start to finish. The venue was intimate and complemented the play quite well. The material itself is ambitious and they succeeded in what they set out to do. DYING CITY is a wonderfully poignant, relevant and powerful story that I would recommend anyone invested in our current political climate to go see. 10/10.... full review

After seeing this production I immediately purchased tickets for the next showing. This play is beautifully written, but this production truly brings it to life. Zoe Kanters is the perfect leading lady and I am still in awe of Jon Manganello portraying two characters seamlessly. It is a true testament to the beauty of live theater. ... full review

A smartly written play and wonderfully executed and performed by Zoe Kanters and Jon Manganello. The direction was tight and simple. Grabbed my attention immediately. Zoe was mesmerizing from the start and played the heaviness of the story so well, while Jon playfully and expertly danced around the issues until completely diving in. ... full review

I am not completely sold on this script, but the production won me over 100%. It is obvious that director Jacqueline Toboni thought through every aspect of this production and dedicated the attention necessary to full realize her vision. The set design, by Charlotte Dworshak, is clever as hell. It’s subtle but highly effective. The same can be said for the two actors Jon Manganello and Zoe Kanters.
