What I liked

I’m going to list these bullet-point style:
– The venue is intimate, warm and comfortable.
– The staging is creative, and I never felt “lost” following the narrative, even
though the story moves back and forth in time.
– Both actors (Zoe and Jon) are consummate pros. They navigate the
circumstances of their characters with openness and vulnerability. If you
want to see how great actors work, watch these two.

What I didn't like

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like!

My overall impression

Despite taking place a couple of years after 9/11, “Dying City” presents themes that are especially relevant in our present day. It is a very timely performance, superbly acted by the pair (Zoe and Jon), and developed with care by Jacqueline and the entire production team. Like all great performances, it left me deep in thought and with an open heart. 10/10.
