Call me a ‘fahn’. Funny and touching, Ms. Fahn took us on a journey that spanned a life (in about an hour). This could easily be a longer show. Tom Cavanaugh, who can still hear faint echoes of Inge’s Americana lurking in forgotten shadows, directed this piece with love for the material, sober devotion to Ms. Fahn, and an appreciation of its subject—Ms. Fahn’s mother—who unwittingly bound the duo together in this thing called show business.
