Heather’s journey through this very emotional, traumatic, life-altering diagnosis is candid, revealing, detailed, touching, daring, and both pulls at the heartstrings and tickles the funny bone. The multi-media aspect, the fact that she has actual documentation of her journey from the beginning till present, adds to all these above elements. It is so unself-consciously, boobs to the wind in your face, her bravery in sharing this intimate pilgrimage is well worth the evening out.
