What I liked
Anxiety Cure – simple staging with a strong story. Lizzie is so relatable and so engaging.
LA Homebody- Shauna is a beautiful story teller. Her soft but strong voice makes you lean in and her passion and vulnerability keeps you there.
What I didn't like
I wish the staging of LA Homebody was simpler- the volleying lighting leading Shauna to walk back and forth across the stage seemed too “blocked”
My overall impression
These two one-woman shows were so lovely! Anxiety Cure was a great reminder to follow your dreams but be open and ready for detours. LA Homebody had me laughing, then crying, then laughing while crying. Bravo ladies.
