Great, complete ensemble show that is absolutely worth your time. This is a highly polished labor of love from Waldkirch and Lowder. The dialog is clearly professionally written, with sharply executed setups and payoffs delivering laughs and distinctly developed characters, and blends seamlessly with a multitude of satisfying, Menken-esque songs punctuated with clever rhymes and twists. Many of the characters are ,on the surface, exaggerated caricatures, that require skilled actors to ground them in likability. The whole cast is up to the task, and the script gives each a fully developed character arc with which to shine. All this is delivered with no discernable hiccups in the performance. A standout piece for Fringe Fest.
What I didn't like
My overall impression
Professionally written comedy musical with complete, satisfying character stories and a clever, infectious soundtrack worthy of a much larger venue.
