Heart wrenching, yet so funny and provocative that you are reeled into the performance and wanting more. She managed to balance vulnerable moments with a comedic punch to offer an authentic performance that was engaging, relatable, and relevant.... full review

A courageous, honest sharing of life that vividly allows the audience to witness...and feel...the dreams and challenges of a young woman, revealing her vulnerabilities and her ultimate strength to be true to herself and follow her own path. In this short time, we learn so much about this person, her family and cultural background, loves, disappointments, and triumphs. It is never dull! Kudos to Lesley for writing this excellent piece and performing it so well! ... full review

I just knew this show was going to be right up my alley! It had its funny moments and moments that made you reflect. I was really impressed with Lesley's use of the flag...even using it as a phone - SO CLEVER! I LOVED that Lesley goes all out, takes the risks and doesn't hold back to give you such a great and meaningful show!... full review

Nurse Asistio was a fun and engaging look into the personal and career life of its creator. It explores the (often tense and intense) mother daughter relationship, hopeful and foiled romantic relationships and the passionate yet ambivalent love-hate battle one has with a career in the arts. The piece had great pacing and moved forward with comedic and touching moments.... full review

Full of surprises, very well done. It jumps around a lot, in a good way. Keeping only the raw core feeling, and trusting the audiences ability to keep up. At some points even poking fun at itself and then jumping suddenly to a raw honest emotion that commands the audiences attention and respect. Stay on your toes. I liked it, kept me engaged. At one point I felt like I was getting goosebumps. Truth, Hyperbole, Physicality and speech all mixed together for a nice recipe of engaging and thought provoking entertainment.... full review
