June 12, 2017What I liked
I really enjoyed the physical engagement and sensuality in the piece. Each Actor had a relationship with their body, and was very connected to all of their tissues. Everything was involved. The relationships were very clear and they adapted the play in a very clever way. It flowed beautifully, which is a hard task to accomplish. The pace varied. It really showed me that the director and actors understood the emotional journey they were experiencing and also the underlining conflicts within the play and their characters.
What I didn't like
I would have enjoyed a bigger venue. I think the space was confining and it was difficult to see the spacial relationships with the characters. Everyone had no choice but to be close to each other.
My overall impression
They did a lot of text work. They all knew the play. Better than the back of their hands. The cuts were seamless. They also worked well together, nobody was performing. Everyone was playing nicely off eachother.
