What I liked

Could have been an interesting topic and exploration of how/why addiction can run in families

What I didn't like

Sadly, all of it…. the script, the performances, the direction….

My overall impression

There was way too much very loud yelling in a very tiny theater and the shouting just didn’t convey any genuine emotion. I would have appreciated more nuanced performances. The story seemed to go nowhere: two siblings screaming at each other about who has had it worse in life but never actually getting to the reasons behind their addictions. The male lead’s physical acting was distracting, as he shuffled and stomped around the stage pretending to pack or unpack his sister’s belongings but very clearly not doing anything but picking stuff up and putting it down again. My date was so unhappy that we left with about 30 minutes to go.
