What I liked
I liked Jon not being all serious about how the tricks were done and letting us in on some of the secrets. I liked his interaction with the audience. I enjoyed his using the kids and calling them kid. I liked the opening with the simple round thing that was the laundry basket and then using it to put all his finished tricks in. Clever.
What I didn't like
Some of the tricks didn’t get the audience response that some magicians get. Is this usual for Jon? Maybe it’s because there aren’t any drum rolls or whistles when a trick is completed. Sometimes my reaction was slow because i didn’t realize what i had just seen him do and couldn’t believe it!
My overall impression
I loved the combination of magic and comedy and Jon’s easy manner on stage.
