What I liked

I liked the innocence of young love and some of the more playful and comedic scenes. It was an interesting portrayal of humanity from birth to after death. Enjoyed the use of Shakespeare in this very different presentation.

What I didn't like

I have never seen a show like this and some of the scenes had to be explained to me afterwards. But, I liked that they did not pander or dumb down the message or it’s delivery. Some of the more intense, angry or violent scenes made me uncomfortable, but then that means it touched me. The actors were fully engaged and believable.

My overall impression

Overall the show was ineffable, a meaningful experience. The audience was responsive and involved. The show challenged me to continue to think, analyze and interpret the story long after I left the theatre. Kudos to the cast.
