I was very surprised at this immersive theater experience. I was covering the show for a backstage segment for FringeTV, and didn’t really know anything about the show, or shows (technically). I liked how the actors incorporated the audience into their show, and made us feel like we belonged with them. I really liked how the show began, because I seriously was not ready for it, and thought it was just a real event happening, until I realized what was actually going on: the show had just started.
What I didn't like
I think the second play, John Stamos, was a little stronger and more compelling, more relatable than the Rainbow Brite and the commercial pitch storyline.
My overall impression
An interesting experience I had never been a part of before and a good venue make this a unique addition to this year’s Fringe festival. Worth checking out!
