I loved that this story felt universally enjoyable and identifiable to everyone, not just for moms or women or something. I looked around at the audience- it was a very diverse group- and everyone was changed by the experience of the show. Brava. You are an awesome example to all artists of why we do theatre. So glad I caught this!
What I didn't like
Seriously, it’s perfect.
My overall impression
What a tour-de-force! Not to be missed! When a seasoned performer and amazing artist like Brooke Baumer writes a one-woman show, you know it’s going to be good. But the beautiful rollercoaster ride that she has crafted to take the audience on a madcap adventure, complete with hilarious escapades and an entourage of nutsy characters along the way (real and imagined) becomes a deeply poignant personal journey the audience is lucky enough to experience fully right with her.
