What I liked

The Cast, most of the songs and the lyrics!

What I didn't like

Length and some of the songs.

My overall impression

Okay… so you don’t have to like the subject matter, but if you’re doing a play about Social Media… it is not P.C.!
Okay… you can complain about the obvious…. Some voices weren’t what they should be, but for the most part there were a lot of talented voices up there!
Okay… there was a video and live action…. And some might have detracted from the other…. But…
You know what… let’s drop the critiques…. Someone needs to acknowledge…. the gigantic task Chris Valenti put upon himself.

1st. Outside of the Fringe World, musicals of this size and length don’t see the light of an audience unless they have been put up and broken apart in major Musical Theatre Programs like ASCAP, BMI or MTW…. This is purely a passion project by the director / producer / lead actor… this is HUGE!!! NOT MANY DO THIS AND NOT MANY SUCCEED AT IT!

2nd. Have you ever tried to schedule 12 L.A. actors on a 6-week rehearsal schedule??? You got a better chance of wrangling long horn steers with you bare hands!!! There’s no way this production had more than 2 rehearsals with a full cast…. Not because it’s a standard… it’s not… but, because it was a non-union production with a huge cast!!!! HATS OFF FOR TAKING THAT ON!!!

3rd. This production was really two productions! A stage show and a video show… that’s a theater production and a film production… that probably ran at the same time…. Another insane, huge task that Chris Valenti took on!!!!

Despite your opinions… you have to give credit where credit is due…. This was a good musical that was bigger than it’s own britches and you know what… they pulled it off… except for the two female cast members that I couldn’t hear as well cause they were not on microphone like the rest of the cast when they needed it… that didn’t make sense to me…. Despite that… everyone made this work and made it enjoyable to watch. This show is worth checking out and observe someone taking risks to create and you know what? There’s no better place to do that than the Hollywood Fringe Festival!!!
