Matthew Scott Montgomery created a brilliant piece of theatre. Not only were there many comedic moments, mostly due to his character’s loveable awkwardness, but the show also hits on serious issues like homophobia and racism, and Andrew Puente has a very touching scene in which his character tells a story from his past in Spanish, which was a brilliant move, as even if you don’t understand the language, you understand the intention, and get a glimpse into the true character. This show was engaging throughout and left me wanting to see it again and again. Bravo!
What I didn't like
Nothing that was that big of a deal considering how great the show was.
My overall impression
Brilliant piece of theatre. I laughed, I cried, I had a great time! One of my favorite shows this year! Highly recommend!!!
