A strong and charismatic cast pulls off an incredibly intricate script flawlessly. The playwright basically creates her own language and rules for this show – for about a minute or two I was nervous about what I was in for, but damn, it worked! This could be just another “relationship” show and this cast would have made it enjoyable – but the show takes risks and nearly all of them pay off. Great musical transitions.
What I didn't like
This show is about SO many things that huge topics blow by you at an incredible speed. Part of me wants to see a 90 minute version that spends a little more time on each plot point, but at the same time I wouldn’t want to sacrifice the frenetic energy of the dialogue. Gave me a lot to think about.
My overall impression
A lovely, ambitious, impactful, show with an incredibly tight performance. Extremely impressed, one of the best I’ve seen at this year’s Fringe.
