What I liked

The cast are all great fun, with the four band members, Jimmy, Steve, Tom and Rudy setting the standard in a wonderfully boisterous opening number. ‘Steve’ in particular is charisma personified, I found myself watching his every move throughout the evening. The story is fairly cliche but the direction makes it snappy and I loved the two dancing girls who changed the set.

What I didn't like

Struggled to hear some song lyrics but honestly at $20 it was worth every cent. I have been to fringe festivals all around the world and this was one of my most enjoyable experiences. If those sound issues were sorted I wouldn’t have a single bad word to say about the show.

My overall impression

A really enjoyable show, small tech issues aside. I am not a big fan of The Clash but I was dragged along by my wife who most certainly is. We both loved it. The musical arrangement is fantastic and even if you are not familiar with the band, you would struggle not to have a really fun evening.
