Inspired by the works and ideas of renowned existential philosopher Albert Camus, The Ghost Road Company, led by ensemble member Ronnie Clark, has developed a new play that examines identity within the context of a broken rural family trying to make a living in the bitterly cold North. An unrelenting domestic tragedy, Stranger Things utilizes black comedy and original musical composition as it delves into the emotional undercurrent of the isolated individual and investigates how our relationships to others, or lack thereof, define us. Ghost Road worked with award-winning Los Angeles composer David O to compose and perform original music that will chip away at rigid, protective layers the characters wear as protection from the cold, both literally and figuratively.
