What I liked
I loved the first Lyla and was very much looking forward to the sequel. I was not disappointed. Jeff Wylie makes Texas’ favorite Aunt funny, human and self-absorbed all at the same time. The mixture of one-liners, slapstick and songs reminded me irresistibly of Dame Edna Everage, one of the great comic creations. Oh, and some fabulous outfits!
What I didn't like
If anything, I’d have liked the show to be a little longer.
My overall impression
Lyla is a terrific creation and this second show is a worthy sequel to the first.
