What I liked
My favorite part of the show is how amazing a storyteller Dufflyn is. The show flowed from childhood to present day so seamlessly and so clear. She really balanced moments of comedy, heartbreak, heightened poetic text, and grounded drama so remarkably well. She portrayed multiple characters with ease and tranferred between them flawlessly. She allowed empathy for the antagonist of the story, a feat I believe is imperative in creating any multi-dimensional, fully fleshed out charcter. Really just a stellar show!

My overall impression
WOW! What an amazing show! Dufflyn Lammers is INCREDIBLE in Discovered. She’s an incredible writer, an incredible storyteller, and an incredible actress. I can be a bit of a pessimist when it comes to seeing one-person shows because I’ve seen my share of bad ones, but this story is so well-conceived, personal, and dynamic that I was gripped and engaged from start to finish.
