What I liked

I love shows where I get to feel and learn! I knew very little of the history of the Tudor House, and Canfield does a great job at giving enough historical context without losing the deep emotional core of the relationships between King Henry and his former wives. I don’t know if Fringe gives acting awards, but this cast would take the cake (and eat it, too). The work that has gone into this show from all of these young actors is apparent. Hilary Kelman and Wendy Skuse are particular standouts as Catherine of Aragon & Anne Boleyn respectively. Tech was tight & polished, and perfectly supportive of the story and the actors. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

What I didn't like

No comment. It was great. See it.

My overall impression

Poignant, intense, beautiful! I had all of the feels seeing “Ladies In Waiting”. James Canfield has written a wonderful script, performed with great poise by the author himself and 6 OUTSTANDING up-and-coming actresses. These Ladies are the real frickin’ deal. If you love historical drama, don’t wait to see this show (see what I did there? ;)
