My overall impression
Divorced, beheaded, died… The prayer-like repetition of the fates of the wives takes us through the trial of Henry, who refuses to get it even as he is surrounded by the proof of his misogyny. Anne Boleyn and Katherine of Aragon are given especially striking performances as they finally get their chance to get a word in edgewise.
