This is ambitious, goofy fun. Very catchy tunes and over-the-top performances make for a fun show.
What I didn't like
A bit hard to hear the performers over the music a few times, hopefully that gets worked out.
My overall impression
Taking a campy premise and running with it full-tilt, this was damn fun. A fictional town called Perfection, California, where the political power has repressed every little thing considered bad or deviant. The is a musical comedy but there is a serious edge that takes the piece into a more meaningful and disturbing territory. The camp is always there, but there are some interesting points being made about the misuse of power, as well.
