About the Project
“Mavs” focuses on the ups and downs that romantic relationships can carry not only on within the relationship but also from the outside. Many couples have encountered unusual struggles that comes with dating someone of a different race, or culture. Some may say that it is quite accepted theses days but little do they know that other’s opinions can be quite negative at times. These opinions can definitely have a negative affect on the relationship, and often requires the two to carry a strength and bond that outweighs the fragility of love. All in all The TL Collective dives deep in exploring these ideas through dance, and creates an atmosphere of millennial coupling.
