About the Project
This June, The Art Army will infiltrate the Hollywood Fringe Festival and we encourage all artist to be part of this growing creative movement. It is about keeping the creative spirit alive and protecting the freedom of expression. If we don’t do it who will. The reason we came up with the name, the Art Army, is to give solidarity in what we do, because we are all in this together. The artist who lived before us and all the artist that will come after us, it is we, the now generation, that holds the torch for the future and we have the responsibility to keep the freedom of expression alive. You are special because you are the only one who can be who you are. That is the privilege of this lifetime. The ART ARMY show with PeregoLIVE at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.Our Fringe presentation is about sharing the creative spirit and bringing Performance Art to the mainstream public. As the curtains are drawn and the lights are turned up, a black wall about 6ft.x 6ft. will be seen with the words, “YOU ARE THE ART”. Either a live band or a DJ will begin to play music that will set the tone for Perego (the artist) to bring to life an imagination filled painting within 20 minutes, right before the onlookers eyes. In-between segments of the show, Perego will share, in words, some intellectual and beautiful reflections about creatively, expression and art. As the show comes to an end, he will ask a few guests to help in signing his name in a spectacular way, with his hair. They will pour paint down the back of his hair and he will do his famous hair slam. Many people are excited with this live event and leave with a new attitude about their own creative self. “You blew my mind!” is a common reaction from an ART THAT ROCKS show. Through the power of inspiration and positive messages, people will be eager to go home and be creative themselves.

It’s no longer just about being “entertained”, people want more, they want to learn, to expand, they want to raise their consciousness.
They want to walk away from an event & be CHANGED. This is exactly what the Art Army does, with all it’s fun & excitement, it also brings a message people yearn for- the idea that WE ARE ALL ARTISTS & EVERYONE IS CREATIVE.
Both young & old, rich & poor ALL have responded to what we do…
For whatever event, function or meeting we can bring something unique & entertaining. And maybe, just maybe you will realize- there IS a revolution going on.It’s one of thought & of action. We are changing the world. ALL of us…WE are the ART, & together we are the Art Army.
The Art Army is a way for you to stand your ground in protecting the freedom of expression, and to show your solidarity as a globally creative tram of artists.
