My overall impression
Such an absolute kick—sexually charged and engaging! Alluring characters and witty, razor-sharp dialogue. Every character has a past. Even the nightclub owner has secrets and a soul to be bared—in a sensual, hip-moving way. It’s great fun. The vocal performances captivate, and the music has depth. Most songs are upbeat and memorable, even bawdy, but there are also more tender, lovely songs that are quite moving. You won’t regret seeing it.
