In "Ser: L.A. vs. B.A.", Karen Anzoategui has created a brilliant and compelling vehicle to demonstrate her considerable talent. Not only does she have impressive "chops" as an actress and comedienne, but also a profound and poetic facility for storytelling. I would definitely consider this artist "one to watch", and would recommend this piece to anyone who's ever had a penchant for soccer, Buenos Aires, or James Brown. Impressive!...

Covers the interpersonal but also has an interesting perspective on some of the changes both Argentina and U.S. under went as shared in the play. If you grew up loving futbol/soccer, felt the cultural/spiritual/fanatical presence of Maradona, or experienced an intense childhood--this story will definitely speak to you.
