What I liked

There’s only standing applause from me for this unique brand of Piano Man!

David Wheatley’s A Useful Life in C Major transports you through jazz clubs, cabarets, avant-garde music schools, rock and pop shows, tv shows, baseball stadiums, silent movie theaters, classical concert halls and into David’s original music composition studio as he expresses scenes from his musical life’s journey. David’s comfortable stage presence and charming banter add to the pleasure of his company along the way. The ride is provided by one immensely gifted and creative man and one little digital piano! His improvisations were the highlight for me as I like to travel on unfamiliar roads with lots of twists and turns, but end up at lovely places at the end. This scenic performance of standard, original and improvisational piano music is an excursion not to be missed!
