About the Project

Watts Village Theater Company is proud to include the Fringe Festival as part of our 20th Anniversary Programming.

Movement 1 – “Uncommon Angels” written by Eric Inman recites a fable and mythic telling of the sobering reality of the Los Angeles Homeless Community through the voice of children and youth who call this reality “home.”

Movement 2 – “Daddy Issues” written and performed by Donald Jolly, with staging by Eric Inman.

Movement 3 – “Before the Drive to Oakwood Station” by Lynn Manning. Performed by Bruce A. Lemon, Jr. Directed by John Freeland, Jr. First Produced in June/July 1993 by the Actors’ Conservatory Ensemble along with “Object Lesson” and “Shoot!” this piece garnered Lynn a Damalogue Critic’s award for playwriting.
