What I liked
Rebecca Larsen is the illegitimate love child of Bernadette Peters & Spinal Tap, raised by Judy Garland & Lenny Bruce. This show is filthy, sly, and hilarious. Larsen mines Richard Levinson’s clever obscene ditties for every laugh, pushing her character to the edge of self-caricature. The tightrope walk is fascinating – and then she punctures it in perfect time with a wink to the crowd. A perfect hour. MUST SEE.
