What I liked

Ariel was able to deliver different types of emotions during the different parts of her play. She conveyed happiness, sadness, determination, love, etc. She immersed into her role and delivered her part. I also felt the passion that she had for Yuri.

What I didn't like

The abrupt stop in the middle of the play to seat people. I wonder if it was planned or not, but it stopped the flow of the performance, and Ariel had to bring back the atmosphere.

My overall impression

The show made me curious to learn more about Yuri Kochiyama and how Yuri ties into American history. Ariel did a great job for her performance, and hopefully she can continue to grow more as an artist.
