My overall impression
I help organize small school events and every year we try to come up with something a little more creative for photos of the kids. Traditional class photos are nice, but parents love something more fun and natural. While looking for inspiration I actually found a great guide with ideas for school-themed shoots. The article https://skylum.com/blog/back-to-school-photoshoot-ideas had some really practical concepts that are easy to recreate even with simple props. The blog itself is part of the Skylum photography community and often shares creative tips for photographers. We tried a couple of those ideas last semester and the photos turned out much more lively than the usual staged portraits.
