What I liked
Clever stunt: two girls playing Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as young guys before they became famous.
What I didn't like
Goes on MUCH too long to sustain interest.
My overall impression
Well-known Mindy Kaling writing about w.k. Matt Damon and w.k. Ben Affleck a quarter-century ago, just before they were famous, drew me in. What I never expected was to find a GIRL playing Matt (AND J D Salinger) and another GIRL playing Ben (AND Gwyneth Paltrow)! !!! This surprising stunt actually works well—-but the vehicle itself goes on and on and on far beyond its expiration point. A nice half-hour SNL sketch is stretched to 75 minutes, too tepid to sustain itself that long. PS ANOTHER Fringe show that won’t give out programs so that you won’t know who’s to blame!
