Cait and Alton came to do the work! A not so easy play to perform but they gave heart and fire into text that is quite personal and full of language that reflects the scene/time in which it was written. They gave the play their own personal touches, and their are moments that sit with you after the show is over. The idea of living to be somebody and what gets sacrificed along the way—-self, mental and physical health and can one fully heal from such pains?
What I didn't like
That the play started late…..
My overall impression
It is a play that demands discussion after and that is exactly what we did after the show. We had ice cream and talked about what it means to write such personal pieces—-and then to have people perform those works—does it work? In reality, the question need not be answered—because all that matters is that it was done—so it lives.
