What I liked
Ensemble was dedicated to making the show work. Writing had a good momentum and a couple spots that caught me off guard. Not predictable at all. Writer, director and lead actress in one was confident and had her vision come to life. Very truthful and spot on regarding the life of an everyday woman who happens to be the business owner of a sex hot line. Artistically arousing.
What I didn't like
The transitions were a bit clunky and I personally prefer a more ensemble driven transition that brings the cast together. Music or some beat in between would help since the music when the house was open got me into the mood. The ensemble was driven but could use more energy in some places but that didn’t affect the quality of the production at all – just a personal note. Love to see the coffee scene have more overlapping dialogue with the customers and what they are actually saying to the barista! :)
My overall impression
Dug it. Found it erotic truthful and has a strong sense of itself. A little more energy throughout would have made this particular show an award worthy ensemble. Most important there was a female director, writer and actress finding her way to a full house on a Friday afternoon = pretty successful to me!
