What I liked

Designated Mourner is lush piece of dramatic literature, fully deserving of the skillful and committed hands of Cheryl Waston and the three terrific actors. At times funny, at others disturbing, and always mesmerizing, the play takes us into the alternative, yet eerily familiar and strikingly relevant, reality of some unnamed revolutionary society and painstakingly reveals the catharsis and self-absorbtion that stains love and paralyzes compassion. Remarkable performances by Brad Light, Rebecca Sigl, and Christopher Neiman take us on a journey of introspection and lead us to a profoundly satisfying conclusion, free of moralizing, but rich in truth about the human experience.

What I didn't like

I had forgotten to eat and so was hungry.

My overall impression

Exactly the kind of production that dramatic literature of this level deserves.
