What I liked

I really enjoyed the format. The special guest was interviewed (with some audience participation) about a variety of topics, and his answers were then used to help guide the – wickedly dark and delightful – improvised fairy tale. It was sort of like Mad Libs meets improv, and the result was hilarious!

What I didn't like

The interview process took a bit of time, and could seem to drag for some audience members. But JP is such an engaging host I didn’t mind, and the amount of questions he asked gave a lot for the improvisers to work with by the time they were ready to jump in and create the fairy tale.

My overall impression

The show was hysterically funny, irreverent in all the right ways, and just so much fun. I haven’t laughed that much in a long time! If you’re looking for a good time at Fringe, go see it!
