What I liked

Best show at the Fringe.
Just the basic fact that they had full and complete production value including perfect tech, live foley, wonderful props, costumes and puppets is incredible in itself. That being said all of the production value enhanced the show.
And the show. So clean, so precise, this ensemble felt like they’d been working, playing and rehearsing together for years.
And all of the incredible work that everyone is doing would be meaningless except for the fact that it’s in service of a brilliant play. A play that is a fable, a mirror held up to everybody held captive watching our own ugly society being presented to us warts and all. And I particularly like that the show never points out that there’s a lesson being taught, it never winks at the audience to make sure we get the joke, it never condescends.
This is a perfect play and it deserves a long life here in L.A. and a long life touring the world.

What I didn't like

I don’t like that I saw the last performance which means I won’t get to see it again and I won’t be able to tell my friends to go see it.

My overall impression

Best show at the Fringe.
