What I liked
A clever and dark take on a truly violent classic show originally “for the kids.” The simple set and use of masks enabled the live actors to be more puppet-like to great effect! A lot of twisted fun with effective selective updating to reflect the times. The live music & sound effects from the one man band added wonderfully to the playful atmosphere. I’m glad they chose not to pull back in response to recent events.
