My overall impression
This is a well told and very personal story threaded through with humor. Chris Piehler takes us through his checkered romantic history and his significant equine others. Unafraid to show his vulnerability in these relationships, he connects with the spurned lover in all of us, until he finds the real love we all hope for, with or without saddle sores.
